The weekend

Where we leave they had lots of family fun things going on this whole weekend. A small Fair and also a Fiesta going on at one of the church's. JR enjoyed playing some of the games at the fair, eating popcorn and in the evening on Saturday after dinner, we got her all ready for bed and took her down to listen to the live music. She loves music and enjoyed dancing. We really didn't get any great pictures from the day. But got a really short video of her dancing. I know it's short, but better than nothing, right :) Sunday was another family day at Daddy's softball game, his team won :) Then an evening of playing with friends!

Happy Memorial Day!

I know it's been a while since I've blogged, sorry! Things have been busy and I have not been feeling up to staying up late, most of the time I'm in bed by now. But tonight I've got a little bit of energy, baby is kicking my butt! 12 weeks and 4 days today :)

Well, first off Happy Memorial Day! For most, it is simply 3 days off work. For others, it's a lot of savings at stores nationwide. But for most of US, it's a day to remember our fallen troops that have fought in battles WORLDWIDE!

We had a great weekend fulled with lots of fun with family and friends! So thankful it's my day off tomorrow and I still get another day off with our princess :) Tomorrow will be fun with JR's cousins at the children's museum. Thanks sis for the free passes, once again :)

Today went to the doctor's for an ultrasound :) Everything is looking good, Baby Perez has a strong heart beat already! Took Jaycee with me to the appointment and she did very well. I think she enjoyed watching the pictures on the computer :) I'm measuring at 8 weeks and 4 days today. Ultrasound shows my due date of December 11th. I was only 3 days off! Even closer to Jaycee's birthday!

Easter fun with cousins........

Last week we went over to my sister's casa and colored eggs and had a hunt with the kids. Lots of fun! Thanks sis for the good times and filling the eggs with surprises (money). Next year's hunt with the kids will be twice as fun, adding two more little ones to the mix :) My sister being due in November and myself due in December. Yes, another December baby!

Happy Birthday Conor!

Today my nephew turned the big 8! It's hard to believe 8 years ago today Tavo and I stayed up really late (when I say late, I mean late) with some friends for his 26th birthday, we had pretty much just went to bed when we got a call. We rested a bit and headed to the hospital around 7am to meet our new baby nephew :-) After the hospital we went and played softball at 11am. Meeting the little guy and seeing his first bath gave us the energy we needed to go play ball on little to no sleep ;-)

This weekend we celebrated Conor's special day! Grandma, Grandpa, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa came down to celebrate also :-) We all had a great time! Happy Birthday Conor, we love you and are so proud of the young man you are becoming! You are so smart and amaze us all the time!

Happy 34th Birthday Amor! You truly are my best friend and I am blessed to have you in my life! Thanks for ALL you do for JR and I. We both love you so very much!

Tonight we will have Tavo's favorite dinner served with a nice glass of red wine! After dinner and JR has gone nite nite. We will enjoy what we hear is a funny movie.......Despicable Me. It's been a long time since we have sat and watched a movie. Looking forward to it :-)

Saturday Fun!!!

First CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Joanne and Clay, baby JAX was born today! And on last Thursday the 10th Baby Sofia was born, CONGRATULATIONS to Leo and Emma also :-) You ALL are truly blessed, not that I really have to tell you that! Welcome to parenthood :-)

This past weekend we visited the park and beach at La Jolla Shores. We played hard most of the morning (ran the beach, played in the sand, ran around the park and kicking the ball) and then had a nice picnic lunch :-) Some nice pictures to enjoy below! I'll say it again, I'm blessed to have family times like these!

Today was a beautiful day! We were out doors most of the morning and enjoyed a nice picnic at a community duck pond. JR loves feeding the ducks and we had a lot of bread for them. I love family days like these and love our San Diego weather :-)

Gwen & Shamu

Today I had to make one of the hardest decisions ever! We put Gwen and Shamu to sleep :-( It's something we have been thinking hard about for the last month and a half. Shamu had been getting worse with his diabetes, he would meow often like he was sad. Both Gwen and Shamu would throw up often and sometimes multiple times a day. They both were on medication twice a day. It was getting to the point we were asking ourselves how happy they really are :-( It has been a really sad day so far and I keep crying off and on. I have been really good so far not to cry in front of JR, she is what keeps me going. Thanks sis for coming over and helping out with JR, we love you!
