Welcome Roman Octavio

Yesterday we welcomed our newest member to the Perez family! Roman Octavio, born at 9:10am on December 8th, 2011, weighing 7lbs 9oz, 19 1/2 inches. Only one week difference between JR and Roman almost 3 years later and both weighing the same when born! Labor and delivery was similar with the two.......long and rough! But just like JR, well worth it in the end! Our little boy is just precious and we are truly blessed again to have another baby in our lives :) A few pictures below from the last 24 hours and a few visitors :)

We are truly blessed to have such great people around us! We had so much help with JR while laboring at home before heading to the hospital and after. Thanks Sara, Andrea, Sister, Chayo and Monica for all you guys did to help us out! We really do appreciate it more than words can say!

Ellis Matthew ONE MONTH today!

Can't believe a month as already passed and Ellis is one month today. Got this really cute picture from my sister today that I thought I would share. He is already smiling :) Haven't seen the little guy since we have all been sick, it will be nice to see them this Sunday to celebrate Jaycee's birthday with the family. Today we celebrated with her park friends, I'll post pictures later on today!

You are my Sunshine.....

Just a couple things before I post two really cute video's of JR singing! Things have been VERY busy around the Perez household. First off we ALL have been sick for over a week and it's been no fun, especially for me. I'm already exhausted and being sick on top of it hasn't been fun. But am blessed that it happened before baby boy comes. Being sick caused me to miss my nephew's 5th birthday party last weekend and Victoria's 2nd birthday also last weekend :( Sad to say, I don't have any pics from Davis' party I promised :( Last weekend, my mother-in-law also planned a surprise babyshower for me. Originally it was just us going over to her house to visit but I told Tavo I wasn't going so I wouldn't get anyone else sick, (at the time him and JR were not sick yet). At this point he had to tell me about the surprise so I threw myself together as best as I could and went. We had a really nice time and got some great stuff for the little guy :) So blessed to be part of such a WONDERFUL family, Tavo's, mother, sister and aunts all put together a great shower.

This weekend was CRAZY busy! Still not feeling a 100%, but had to get things done, never know when the little guy is going to come at this point with less than 2 weeks to go. We got all the baby boy's clothes washed and put away, Christmas light up, Christmas decorations up, Christmas tree up, and other misc errands that needed to be done. Still have a few things to do, but hopefully will get them done this week. Plus we enjoyed a nice Thanksgiving at my mother-in-law's. Thanks Belita for the wonderful Thanksgiving feast!

Happy 5th Birthday Davis

Okay, I'm a bad Auntie and am a couple days late. Instead of blogging lately I've been trying to rest while JR is napping or get things done around the house before our baby Boy comes! Davis Patrick turned the big 5 on Tuesday the 15th. We are celebrating his big day this Saturday :) Hopefully I'll be able to post pictures from the party later. We love you Davis! You have become such a smart young boy and we are so proud of you!

One week today!

Happy ONE week old Ellis Matthew! Ellis is doing well and Mommy too. Today Ellis weighed 9 lbs and 3 oz. Already past his birth weight :) Growing well! I said I would post more pictures, here are a few to share! Enjoy!

It's a BOY!

This morning at 10:10am, my sister had her baby! Such an exciting/amazing experience. I'm truly blessed that I got to be a part of it! He was 9 lbs and 20 1/2 long. She had the little miracle at home. Shane barely made it home from work in time! Little Ellis Matthew waited for his Daddy though! Daddy was home at 10am and 10 minutes later Ellis arrived :) Shane got to delivered the little guy :) Mommy and Baby Ellis are doing good! Happy Birthday little man, we love you! Happy Halloween

This year was JRs first year of trick or treating......last year she was sick so we didn't get to take her out. But this year, she had a BLAST with all her little friends from our neighborhood :) I really love where we live!!! Yesterday we had a community Halloween potluck for the kids and that was fun times as well :)

Anniversary date night

Tonight we celebrated our 4 year Anniversary! We had a wonderful time at Forever Fondue! It has become an annual Anniversary date spot for us :) Food was great and of course the company! Enjoyed walking the streets of La Jolla afterwards holding hands with my hubby! We even got to stop and enjoy some music playing at the La Valencia Hotel. Wish we could do dates more often. It makes me realize how much I miss my husband! Sounds silly right, we see each other everyday, but it's different! I love you amor! Your the BEST!

Oh and we stopped in a hat shop after dinner and had a good laugh trying on silly hats! I think he looks pretty handsome in a cowboy type hat :)

Happy 4 Years!

Happy Anniversary Amor! A quick post....4 years ago today I married my best friend! Thanks for all you do amor and for standing by my side. I'm truly blessed to have you has my husband and the father of our daughter and son to be :)

I can't wait till Saturday when we can celebrate and really enjoy one another! Saturday will be 10 years ago that we started dating! Wow, just seems like yesterday! Another post with pictures to come.

Today hubby had to work and Jaycee and I hung out at the pool. Tonight we are just relaxing and enjoyed a meal at home cooked by me :)

30 weeks and 4 days

Happy Belated Birthday's!

I've been trying to do better at keeping up with my blog and everyone's birthday's! But so far this month I haven't done a good job at all. Sorry mom/Grandma, I know I missed a shout out to you for your birthday earlier this month (Sept 7th)! We love you!

Yesterday was Belita's birthday and just wanted to give a quick shout out to her as well! We love you too!

Happy 3rd Birthday Zerah!

Today our sweet little niece Zerah Jane turned THREE! How time passes by so quickly, this means Jaycee will be 3 also before we know it. I know I say it often, but they truly do grow up way too fast! Last weekend we celebrated Zerah's birthday and my parents came down for the celebration :) It was fun and a good time was had by ALL! Zerah we are so proud of you and love you very much!
