7 weeks today

Our little guy is changing so much these days! Smiling more and even makes noises every now and then. Mostly with Daddy. He is still taking the bottle well, which is great for when Chayo starts back at work on Mon, Wed and Fri. He is starting to be awake more during the day! He has started to grow out of a few of his newborn clothes! He is still a little guy but growing well :)

This week we introduced the pacifier to Roman and he likes it! Oh boy! Hope we can get rid of it soon. Don't want it to be like JR, it's been really hard to get her to stop sucking on her two middle fingers.

Roman and I finally made a visit to my office last week and everyone enjoyed our little guy! Gotta make another visit soon, a lot of folks were not in the office on the day I went.

6 weeks

Today marks 6 weeks, I'm gonna say it again were does the time go :( I don't want March 1st to come!

I do hate to admit it, but I think we have slacked off a bit on taking pictures :( JR everytime she made any move we were taking pictures and now it seems Roman is not getting his daily pictures. Sorry little man.

Going on week 5

Tomorrow Roman will be 5 weeks old. Wow is all I have to say.....

Today I took him in for his one month check up. Doc is happy and he is doing well. Weighing in at 8pds 15.4 oz. Pretty much 9 pds :) 21 1/4 inches. Doc was concerned last time because his weight had dropped. Roman weighed 7.9 born, leaving the hospital weighed 7.6, 1st doc visit he was 7.7, then dropped to 7.4 2nd visit and then a week later only weighed 7.8. I wasn't concerned, he was eating well. And today it was nice to see he had gained over a pound :) He is pretty much right were JR was at this point. She weighed 9.4 and 21 1/2 at her one month appointment.

Both Roman and JR and doing well, we are all adjusting. Daddy started back at work this week and so far it's been a good week (showering has been easier). Monday we hung out around the house and went to the park. Tuesday played at Auntie's casa with cousins :). Today Chayo came over and hung out with JR while I took Roman to the doctor's and ran some errands. Tomorrow we will got to the library and see cowboy Bob, he always puts on a good show :). Not sure what will be in store for Friday yet, but probably relaxing since the weekend is going to be so busy with a babyshower and a baptism.

Oh and one more thing, figured out my start date back to work is going to be March 1st.......makes me sooooo sad! Can't even think about leaving my little boy right now. Feeling the same way as with JR, but this time it hurts more becasue I'm really enjoying my time with both my babies......can we win the lottery please (guess we need to play first to win, right ;) )

One month today!

Our baby boy is one month today! Growing too fast already! He is starting to smile, but we can't seem to get it on camera yet.

Fresh air...

Today we enjoyed some much needed fresh air at Lake Murray to feed the ducks, run around and have a picnic lunch! A nice family day out :) Since we are not a 100% better, thought it would be safe to go someplace outdoors so we wouldn't get others sick, just in case we still have cooties.

We made it........

Today was my first day at home ALL day with both kiddos. First off since we have all been sick and stuck in the casa JR has not been too happy. So today made it rough since she is so in need of some outside time other than the backyard. I have some adjusting to do for sure, thought the shower was going to be easy, but was NOT. Roman was to sleep in the swing outside the shower while JR and I shower, but he woke up screaming while showering and JR had a huge fit in the shower. No Daddy home to save me. I know we will adjust and it will only get better, but today has been long and I know it's only 6pm right now, but I'm ready for bed. Tavo has the babies while I take a few minutes to myself on the computer. Atleast dinner is already done and over with :)

Today Tavo had his first day of school. He got into the apprenticeship program! Couldn't be more proud of him and only means better things for our family! Way to go Daddy! We love you!

4 weeks

Today our little man turned 4 weeks! Wow that went by really fast! Sad to say currently he is a little under the weather, congested and stuffy :( Actually JR, me and Roman all started the New Year off being sick :( Thought Roman would stay healthy since I'm nursing him, but with big sister in his face ALL the time kinda hard for him not to get our cold. He didn't get it too bad, but still sad hearing him have a hard time breathimg at times. We are on day 5 of  being stuck in the house and JR is so ready to be outside. I feel so bad for her, she keeps saying mommy I'm better not sick anymore. Hopefully we will be healthy soon!

Roman is doing really well, besides being a little sick. We started giving him a bottle a day of mommy milk and he has been doing very well :) Hopefully Chayo will have a easy time with giving him a bottle when I have to go back to work.

Happy New Year!!!

This New Year Eve's was pretty mellow. We spent the evening with some neighbor friends and had a nice dinner. Thanks Lindsey and Ben for a nice dinner and hosting :) The kids got to stay up late and play with one another. Good times! We came home at a responsible hour and made it through the next couple hours to kiss at midnight :)

Today was suppose to be a day of football with friends, but everyone stayed home. It turned out to be a long exhausting day! Took down all the Christmas decoration with help from Jaycee. She loves to help, but it took all day it seems between nursing, playing, and cooking. So ready to crash, but still feel like I have a million things to do. Guess it will still be there to do tomorrow or sometime this week ;) At least some of the laundry is done and the house is pretty much back in order. At least the downstairs is :) Tavo goes back to work next week, so who knows what our casa is going to look like once he is back.

Happy 3 weeks :)

Our baby boy turned 3 weeks today. I can't hardly believe it's already been 3 weeks, time truly does go by fast. Today he had his first trip to the zoo with sister, mommy, daddy and friends Sara and Emma. Roman did really well during our time at the zoo :)

Merry Merry Christmas

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas! We had a wonderful time with family! We love you all! So blessed to have a wonderful family!

BTW.....I do realize I'm behind on my posts and I'm sorry. Things have been really busy and not much time on the computer lately. I'll try and post updated pictures soon. It's late now and I need to get to bed. Can't believe our little guy is already past 2 weeks old and will be 3 weeks this Thursday.
