Gwen & Shamu

Today I had to make one of the hardest decisions ever! We put Gwen and Shamu to sleep :-( It's something we have been thinking hard about for the last month and a half. Shamu had been getting worse with his diabetes, he would meow often like he was sad. Both Gwen and Shamu would throw up often and sometimes multiple times a day. They both were on medication twice a day. It was getting to the point we were asking ourselves how happy they really are :-( It has been a really sad day so far and I keep crying off and on. I have been really good so far not to cry in front of JR, she is what keeps me going. Thanks sis for coming over and helping out with JR, we love you!

This was back in April 2010, Shamu's blood sugar got too low and we almost lost him. The vet saved him!

Beach time...

While some parts of the country are having snow and lots of it :-( We got to enjoy great beach weather today! The water of course is way too cold for us, but we did get our feet wet! Jaycee had a BLAST! Currently she is napping after a great day at the beach!!!

I have to apologize right now, I have no idea how to turn the video around. Sorry you have to look at it sideways. Hope you enjoy the video has we have, she was doing this all afternoon at the park. Going around kicking the leaves and then would just take off running. That day after the park we went home had a good lunch and she slept well for her nap that afternoon ;-) Mommy was able to make all her phones calls and get somethings done around the casa :-)

Happy 2011 New Year!

I hope everyone had a nice, relaxing and safe New Year's! We did ~ safe in our casa with good friends! JR was sound sleeping most of the night while everyone was here, but decided right before midnight she was going to wake up and not go back to sleep. Merry Christmas!!!

I know I'm a day late, better late than never ~ right? We had a busy ~ fun weekend! JR had a fun Christmas. We had our Christmas celebration with my family last weekend before JR's birthday party. Christmas Eve Belita, Belito, Tia Diana, Ariana and Lupe came over. On Christmas day, Tio Kike, Tia Christy, Baby Ben, Nino Leo, Emma, Evelyn and Victor came over. Fun times had by all :-) Today we are just relaxing at home getting a few things done around the casa. After JRs nap we will be going to visit with Auntie, Uncle Shane, Conor, Aidan, Davis and Zerah! :-) More fun times!

JRs birthday weekend

Great Grandma & Grandpa and Grandma & Granpa came out to visit and help celebrate JRs birthday on Saturday. The party was short and sweet...pizza, cake and pinata. A fun time had by all I believe. JR really made out and had a blast! Thanks for visiting Great Grandma & Grandpa and Grandpa and Grandma....we love you! And thanks to everyone who came and helped celebrate our little girls birthday with us! Especially thanks to auntie Shelly for making such wonderful cupcakes, they came out so cute and yummy! Happy 2nd Birthday Jaycee

Wow, can't believe today Jaycee is already two. Born at 8:47pm two years ago....where does the time go? We are truly blessed to have her in our lives. She is learning so much and it's fun and amazing to watch how she continues to learn and grow :-) We love you very much Jaycee!!!!
