Gondola Ride

Last night we asked our friend Chris to come over and watch Jaycee while she was sleeping so we could go on a Gondola ride. I got a great deal on the tickets through Groupon. We had a really nice time, it turned out to be a beautiful evening out on the water. The guy we had on the Gondola was great, he was a sweet young kid. He made the experience really nice :-) Would recommend friends/family to go on a Gondola ride, you'll enjoy it for sure. We did have to rush home after because for some reason Jaycee woke up and Chris was upstairs trying to rock her to sleep. Chris did bring his girlfriend Jessica with him, so between the two of them they were trying. Silly Jaycee, not sure what her deal was last night. She doesn't usually wake up anymore. Tonight is Forever Fondue night :-) Will post on that later. I guess you can say we are having an Anniversary weekend :-)

HAPPY 3 YEARS AMOR!!!

Today is our 3 year wedding anniversary. This time 3 years ago we had already said "I DO". I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband to grow with. I love you amor and love you more and more each day!!!

Happy 31st Birthday sis. Just wanted to say I love you very much and am so happy to have you as a sister. I'm very blessed to have such a wonderful sister and friend. Not only are you a wonderful sister; you are an amazing Mother, Wife and Auntie. We all love you!!!

Happy Be-lated Birthday Zerah

Happy 2nd Birthday Zerah. Yesterday was a really busy day I didn't get on the computer all day. In the morning we went to see baby Ben and I got to hold him for a long time :-) He's so sweet and adorable! After the hospital my parents came over to visit for a while, they are here visiting for Zerah's birthday :-) And after celebrating Zerah's birthday yesterday, I was beat and went to bed early. I just love seeing all the cousins play and run around together. They truly have a blast!

Little Benjamin Enrique Perez

Today little Benjamin Enrique Perez came into this world at 2:33pm weighing in at 7 pounds 9 ounces. Totally adorable and can't wait to hold him. Happy Birthday little Ben. Jaycee is lucky to have another cousin to play with soon!

Lots of birthday's in three days. Today we have little Ben and Estella. Welcome little boy Ben! Happy 4th birthday miss Estella Lousie! Tomorrow Zerah turns 2, happy birthday little miss Zerah! And Sunday is Tavo's mom's birthday. Happy Birthday Belita! Busy weekend and my parents are in town visiting also :-)

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL.......

Happy Football!!! We all know how big football is in our casa. Tavo has been waiting for this day for a while and the first Sunday football games were today. Too bad the RAIDERS lost. We all know how much of a Raider fan mi amor is :-) And he is starting young with Jaycee and coaching her to become one also. He bought her a little Raider outfit and she was sporting it today for the game to show her team spirit. Check out some pictures below from the day.

Today was also Grandparents day! HAPPY GRANDPARENTS day mom and dad, my grandparents, Belita and Belito and all the other grandparents out there.

Fun times with COUSINS...

Last week we meet my sis and the kiddos at the zoo. Fun times! I love that my sis is close and the kids get to play together. And I get to spend time with my sister again:-) JR loves her auntie and cousins. She can say everyone's name really well now :-) And everytime we see a motorcycle it's UNCLE SHANE ;-) Enjoy some pics below of the fun day :-)

week #2

Today starts week #2 with Chayo. Last week went really well and we are truly happy with Chayo so far :-)

When we first hired Betty at the end of July, we thought she was going to be great and she was really nice, but after the 2nd day working for us she was uncomfortable with the camera's we had up in the casa. Crazy being a mother of two herself, you would think she would be a little more understanding. She tried working one more day and when Friday came, she told us it was her last day. Even though it was very stressful at the time, I truly feel it was a blessing for her to quit so we could find Chayo. Actually I had already meet Chayo at the neighborhood park and knew how good she was with kids. She was working for another family, while the grandmother was hurt and needing an extra hand. Currently Chayo still works for the family one day a week and another family one day a week, so perfect for us since we only need her 3 days a week :-)

The interviews, the phone calls and the applications were all so overwhelming. It's nice to finally feel comfortable and have a great feeling about your decision. So far the communication is really great between Chayo and us. I don't feel that is going to change. She has been taking great care of JR and helping us around the house while JR is napping. Last week they played at the park and went to the pool. JR is happiest most when playing outside :-)

I never thought in a million years we would be able to afford to hire someone to come into our home and help us watch our kids. But we really feel it is best for JR and our future #2 baby when we cross that path and are doing whatever it takes to afford it. It's crazy to think we have hired an employee and don't even own a business. We are hoping Chayo will be around for a long time and will become a part of our family :-)

The potty....

Today was a BIG day! I just wanted to share that JR went poo poo in the potty today. She hasn't even gone pee in the potty yet. Most kids do that first, but no not JR. It was very exciting and I'm so happy I was home to experience it :-) I know I can't get too excited, it may not happen again for awhile, but I'm hoping it's a start :-) She is always asking to go on the potty, but never does anything. Just love our little girl so much, she is growing way too fast though! Tavo and I are really enjoying every minute with her!!!!

JR LOVES bubbles........always wants to be outside making bubbles. We bought her a bubble gun at the fair this year and she knows how to make it go all by herself :-) She is truly growing way too fast! And boy is she Ms. INDEPENDENT. And talking up a storm, in both Spanish and English and one of my new favorite things she is says now is "No Thank You".

I'll post later this week to update everyone on our search for someone to come in and help us watch JR three days a week while I continue to work part-time. We have finally found someone after a long and stressful search. So far we really like Chayo and JR seems to also. Today was Chayo's first full day and it went well :-) More details to come.....

Lots going on

We have been really busy and I haven't had much time to blog lately. But wanted to post to say we are doing well just busy. I'll blog soon to tell about what's been going on with the Perez household. I'll leave ya with a couple cute pics of our little princess :-)

Happy belated 2nd birthday Ariana

I've been meaning to post, we have just been so busy haven't had a chance. I know it's late, but thought I would post to wish my niece Ariana a Happy 2nd Birthday!!! Her birthday was last Thursday the 8th of July. Yesterday we celebrated her birthday at Belita's and Belito's casa. Jaycee got to hang out with her prima twice in one weekend, she had lots of fun! We love you Ariana, you are a beautiful sweet girl!

A fun day with Hunter.....

Today we had a nice fun day at the zoo with our friends Misty and Hunter. Actually there were several moms and their babies with us. One mom that we used to play softball with and two other moms I just meet for the first time. I wanted to get a picture of us all (5 moms and 6 kiddos in strollers). It would have been a really cute picture, plus it was the first time I had been out with a group other moms like that :-) We had a really fun time :-) Jaycee was so worn out from all the fun she was fast asleep on the car ride home. Got home and was able to move her to her crib, no problem. Still sleeping now :-)
