Happy 11 months princess

Wow...another month has past and our little princess is 11 months today! Time is truly flying by. It's the month of planning Jaycee's 1st birthday party and baptism. Jaycee is doing so much these days. She has mastered walking and is all over the place. She knows what a cow and sheep say. It's too cute to hear her "moo" and "baa". Her favorite thing right now is saying "no, no, no". She says this right before she is going to do something she isn't suppose to. She knows where our eyes, nose, elbow and teeth are when you ask her. Everything is in Spanish though, Tavo is teaching her well and of course mommy is learning more too :-)

She has started to try new things with food and is eating a little better. Her new favorite is olives and turkey meat. Still work in progress though, we keep pushing the vegetables! She is still drinking mommy's milk.

Visiting with Grandpa

Grandpa came out for a short visit this Wednesday and left today. He drove down to help Davis celebrate his 3rd birthday. Davis' birthday is actually this coming Sunday, but we had an early birthday dinner celebration last night. A post with pictures soon to come....

Thanks for coming to visit Grandpa, Jaycee enjoyed her visit with you. We are glad you got to come out and stay a couple days. We love you and will see you next month :-)

A play date....

Sunday afternoon Jaycee had her first offical play date. Don't get me wrong Jaycee has played with her cousins and other kids that are older than her plenty. But we have never offically had a so called "play date" before. Is that sad, her being 10 months almost 11? Nah...I don't think so, like I said she has been around plenty of other children. Zerah and Ariana are really close to Jaycee in age. Jaycee loves her cousins, she is always trying to give them a hug and kiss!

Hunter and Misty came over and we all had a great time! Misty is a mom we know from softball, we have played ball with her for years. She's had to stop playing for now. Her husband is in the military and is out to sea right now :-( It would be hard for her to take care of Hunter and play ball. Something I understand, that's why Jaycee and I sit on the bench and keep score while Daddy plays. Hunter is a totally cutie and a sweet boy! Jaycee and Hunter are only a month and 9 days apart. I think they played well together. Misty and Hunter thanks for coming over and visiting. You're welcome anytime. Can't wait to do it again :-) Check out some picture below....

Happy Halloween part 2

The night was fun! My sis and the kids came over and we went down the street to the Hallopalooza free family event. The kids got to play some games and jump in the jumper. I believe they had a fun time! Both my sis and I dressed up for the kids, which they enjoyed :-) I missed the picture my sister took of all 5 of the kids together. I'll have to get that copy from her, but her are some picture I have throughout the night.

She's is getting the hang of it........

Below are some of the latest walking videos of Jaycee. She is walking all over the place, she may still be a little wobbly, but doing great! If she falls she gets right back up and try's again. Enjoy! The first 3 are from Sunday the 26th and the last 2 are from today the 27th.

Zoo time...

Today Jaycee had a morning doctor's appointment. The appointment was just a check up to see how her iron level was. She was a little borderline last month and the doc wanted to recheck her. Happy to report her levels went up and she is doing great! I had them weigh her today also and she has almost gained a pound since last months visit. 17 pounds 16.10 ounces.

I decided to take the day off work and spend it with my family. The 3 of us went to the zoo. It was Jaycee's 1st time at the zoo and it had been years since either of us had been. It had really been many many years for Tavo. It was great fun and we are now members of the San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, so we will be going through out the year.

FYI...Jaycee is getting really good at walking.

She can walk...........

Jaycee has really started walking a lot more and it's really cute. I thought I would share a couple clips we got of her tonight. Turn up your volume and listen to her giggle with the hiccups.

BTW........she was a big girl tonight and we finally got her to pick up small pieces of chicken and eat it all by herself. This is huge, maybe she will start to pick up other foods besides cheerios and eat like a big girl.

Way to go Jaycee, walking and eating like a big girl!!!! We love you!

Happy 10 Months Baby Girl!

Today our little princess is 10 months! I can't believe in two months she will already be a year old. Crazy to think of it that way. She is growing up way too fast! She has started walking. Not only with her lion friend, but all on her own! It's so cute to see her stand up and take little steps. Today she took as many as 6 steps at a time. She is still wobbly, but in no time she will be walking all over the casa. Good job Jaycee, mommy and daddy are so proud of you and love you mucho! Thanks for being such a good girl!

Happy 2 Years Amor!

Yesterday was our 2 year wedding anniversary. I took the day off work and spent it just hanging out with Tavo and Jaycee. We had a really nice day! In the evening Jaycee went to visit Auntie Shelly and Uncle Shane so we could go and enjoy a nice dinner out. We did just that, thanks Shelly and Shane. We decided to go to the same restaurant as last year and make it a annual thing. So there we were again at Forever Fondue in La Jolla enjoying each others company and great conversation. Happy Anniversary Tavo. I'm blessed to have you as my husband and best friend! I LOVE YOU!

My boss sent me this video and I thought I would share. It's way too cute. It reminds me of our cat Shamu and Jaycee. I feel this is what Shamu deals with daily. Jaycee is always pulling or biting at his tail. She crawls after him all day long. He puts up with a lot from her. It's love!
